We are consistently motivated by fashion and the way it influences our designs. We use fashion photos often in our mood boards for our clients. It is inspiring and also if a client loves the outfit, they are going to be in love with the room!
Let’s talk about this stunning ensemble…… she is chic, she is cool, she is put together in an effortless way. The color palette of chocolate brown, charcoal and off-white is gorgeous and inspired us to design an elevated bedroom that evoked a mood.
Let’s break it down. The rich brown leather coat catches the eye first so we knew we wanted an upholstered bed in a beautiful tone of brown. The side tables are a natural wood tone that compliment the main color palette. The charcoal trousers add a dressy element. We were able to source a lux alpaca throw in the same tone. The throw dresses up the bedding and adds a rich layer. The softness of the hoodie balances out the masculinity of the leather jacket and charcoal trousers. We love how the mini boucle fabric on the chair brings that same element into the room.
We pulled the room together with a geometric soft rug, a block print quilt, textured lamps and moody artwork.
